Annette Beiner
President
Annette Beiner has served on the Board of Education since 2022. Annette has resided in Hicksville since 2002, with her husband, and two children all who attended and graduated Hicksville Public Schools. Annette holds a BS in Business Management and is currently a Defense Litigation Paralegal. Annette has been an active member of the community and has served as PTA President and Treasurer of Lee Avenue, Treasurer of Hicksville Middle School, President and Treasurer of Hicksville High School PTSA, Delegate for SEPTA, President and Treasurer of Hicksville Council of PTAs and as President and Treasurer of Hicksville Band Parents Association. Annette currently serves as President of the Board and Co-Chairperson of the Safety Committee.

Sunita Manjrekar
Vice President
Sunita Manjrekar is a 20-year resident of Hicksville. Sunita’s has served on the Board of Education since 2017. She is the mother of two who both attended and graduated from Hicksville High School. She has a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling with a focus on Employment and Disabilities from St. John’s University. She also achieved a Masters in Sociology from the University of Bombay. She is a member of the North West Civic Association of Hicksville and on the Professional Advisory Board of Hofstra University. Sunita is currently employed as Deputy Commissioner of Public Assistance and Employment at the Department of Social Services. Prior to being on the Board, Sunita was actively involved in the Fork Lane PTA, serving as Vice President and Chair of Reflections, and Fifth Grade Graduation. She serves as the Board Secretary. As a Board Trustee, she serves as Co-Chair of the Policy and Facilities/Bond Committees.

Linda Imbriale
Secretary
Linda Imbriale is a 24 year resident of Hicksville, and has served on the Board of Education since 2019. She is the mother of two children, both who graduated from HHS. Linda is a member of the Hicksville High School PTSA as well as SEPTA. As Board Secretary/trustee, Linda co-chairs the Special Education Advisory Committee, Curriculum Committee, and the Communications Advisory Committee. Linda has always been very passionate about advocating for all students, and is thrilled to serve this wonderful community that puts children’s needs first.

Phil Heckler
Trustee
Phil Heckler has been a Board Trustee since 2012 and Board President from 2013 until June 2022. He is currently co-chair of the Curriculum Committee and Chairperson of the Audit Committee. He is happily married 48 years, 48 of those in Hicksville. His two daughters are graduates of Hicksville High School and two of his three grandchildren currently attend Hicksville Schools. Phil is an active member of the community, receiving the Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award in 2016. He is a life member of the VFW, a former member of the Governor’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative, past Co-President of the Gregory Museum, and a member of the Garden Civic Association. He has 40 years environmental experience with a BS in Civil Engineering. Phil served as a 1st Lieutenant in the US Army, building highways in the central highlands of Vietnam.

Irene Carlomusto
Trustee
Irene Carlomusto has served on the Board of Education since 2020. Irene has resided in Hicksville since 1992, with her husband and three extraordinary daughters, all who attended and graduated Hicksville Public Schools. Irene holds a BS in Accounting from Queens College and has been an active member of the community as treasurer of the North West Civic, a Coordinator for Long Island Junior Soccer League and board member for Hicksville Soccer for well over a decade, President of Burns Avenue PTA, MSPTSA, HHSPTSA and Hicksville Council of PTA’s. Irene serves as Co chair of Policy and Finance Committees.

Danielle Fotopoulos
Trustee
Danielle Fotopoulos was recently elected to serve as a Board Member in 2022. She is a graduate of Hicksville Public Schools, as well as her husband. She also has 4 children who are currently enrolled in Hicksville school district. Danielle has her Master’s in Education, and currently works for the NCPD. She has been an active participant within the East Street PTA, holding many titles and chairing various committees. Danielle serves as a co-chair of Communications Advisory and Safety Committees.
